Systematic review and meta-analysis curriculum: the MetaSyn Meta-Journey
Courses of Interest (select all that apply)

Why This Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis Curriculum Releases One Course at a Time

This twelve-course curriculum releases progressively. Course 1 opens with the academy launch. Subsequent courses open on a rolling cadence over the following months, with each course’s modules releasing weekly across a 6–7-week structured release window. This is deliberate, not logistical. Real systematic review work happens in stages: protocol, search, screen, extract, synthesize, report, and each stage must be done well before the next is meaningful. A student who has not yet completed a defensible protocol cannot meaningfully practice critical appraisal. A student who has not built a reproducible search cannot evaluate screening decisions. The cohort cadence mirrors the natural pace of real evidence work.

What Travels With You Across All 12 Stations

Four supports follow you across the Meta-Journey, from Course 1 to the Summit Circle. They aren’t course content, they’re the infrastructure that makes the journey possible.

AI Companions (Validated)

Validated AI tools that assist you at every checkpoint, protocol drafting, search
translation, screening, extraction, synthesis. AI assists, you decide. Every action is
documented for transparency.

Working Templates & Workspaces

Pre-built PRISMA-aligned workbooks, extraction forms, and reproducible workspace architectures. You don’t download blanks, you fill working documents alongside the lessons, on your own real research project.

Expert Guidance

Personal feedback from Dr. Saeedy Robat for founding-cohort members within 3 business days. Office hours, methodological consultation, and direct access at every checkpoint.

Peer Community (Campfire)

Connect with fellow evidence synthesizers, share challenges, and collaborate across sectors and disciplines. Share the synergistic logic and the joy of the journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we hear most about the Meta-Journey, answered clearly and without marketing language.

Researchers, PhD and graduate students, and evidence-focused professionals who need to produce a high-quality systematic review or meta-analysis, whether for a thesis, a peer-reviewed publication, a clinical guideline, or a policy decision.

No. The curriculum uses no-code and AI-assisted workflows alongside clear conceptual teaching, so you can produce a methodologically sound meta-analysis without a programming or advanced-statistics background. We explain the statistics so you understand what the tools are doing.

Reference works and one-off courses give you knowledge in pieces. MetaSyn is a sequenced A–Z curriculum where each of the 12 courses builds one component of a real project, so you finish with a registered protocol and a publication-ready synthesis, not just notes.

A complete, registered systematic review and meta-analysis protocol, the kind you can submit to PROSPERO, built around your own research question..

The teaching follows PRISMA 2020 reporting standards, established systematic-review methodology, and GRADE principles for rating certainty of evidence, so your output meets the expectations of journals and review boards.

You can begin with Course 1 and continue at your own pace. The curriculum is designed as a journey, but each course delivers a usable skill and output on its own.
